Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Introduce the harness

    Let the ferret sniff it and reward.

  2. Step 2

    Put it on briefly

    Fasten for a few seconds while giving treats, then remove.

  3. Step 3

    Indoor wearing

    Build up to several minutes of play indoors in the harness.

  4. Step 4

    Add the lead

    Let it trail, then hold it loosely and follow the ferret.

  5. Step 5

    Short outdoor trips

    Choose quiet, safe areas away from dogs.
