What to do right now
- 1.Move the bird to fresh air immediately, away from the kitchen

Veterinary treatment
Birds have an extremely efficient respiratory system that makes them uniquely sensitive to inhaled toxins. Never use nonstick cookware, self-cleaning ovens or irons in a room shared with birds, and keep them in a separate, well-ventilated area from the kitchen.
